I thought it might be a good idea to try out these 'alter ego simulation' games to see what they are all about, what sort of people are on them, and if I got any ideas out of them.
The first one - Urbaniacs - looks quite cool but it wont let me submit my profile for some reason. But I will keep at it until it works.
The next simulation - playalterego - is a bit odd, I haven't completed it yet but it's basically just questions, and it tells you what you are doing and stuff. So it's not really an interactive thing unfortunately. But the questions refer to personality types so that might spark something once i've got through them.
The "game" starts from birth, and I am currently at childhood. The questions are quite interesting because they all lead to the development of your characters personality, it's just getting a bit boring as you can't see anything.
Which leads me to thinking about The Sims - a strategic life-simulator game - which is fun to play because you control everything your sim does, looks like and choose it's career and so on. But you don't get free choices because there are limitations to everything. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing? Maybe both.
