Deciding on the content

The short piece I wrote is based on a period in my life which is when I felt at my most vulnerable, and I remember it as though it was yesterday. I was young and had all these very strong and emotional feelings.


I think this would be perfect for the journal because this is me at my most open, and raw - which is what I want to implement throughout. A time period in my life that I will hold with me forever.


This time was when I was at high school aged 13 - 15. I have a couple of letters and some art from it all, and is based on an unrequited love. It was a whirlwind for me everyday. I loved it, and at the same time... hated it. 


These feelings are a necessity for realness within the journal.


My next step will be to list everything I remember that had had an effect on me, and begin to write my experience and thoughts from it.


I think the use of femslash is also a great aspect to include in this because I remember having lots of ideas based around this theme, and it would be quite fun to put this into words.
